Product, Positioned, Prepared
In this Sermon, Paul looks at 1 Kings 5 and the story of Elisha and Naaman. As we remember, Naaman was a commander in Aram’s army and had Leprosy. God healed him when he bathed in the Jordan River at Elisha’s request. At the end of this story, Naaman brings dirt home so his can worship God standing on Israel’s soil. He also asks that God would forgive him for his participation in Idol worship that was part of his duties.
In our lives, we will have situations that we will need to face, and we need to be able to face them the way God asks us too. We need to reject the idols and position ourselves where we are able bring God the most glory.
Are we positioned and prepared to be Christians in a world that has rejected Jesus?
